We are looking for a UK&I Sales Development Representative to provide their energy and enthusiasm to help us grow in the UK, on a commission-only basis. The main focus of the role is to develop new business opportunities for nubeGO across UK&I.
This role reports directly to the CEO and is largely remote, but when restrictions ease, it would be great to see you every once in a while at our Reading HQ.
Why a commission-only role?
nubeGo is a young and ambitious company who are early in our journey. After a few experiments, we’ve decided that we simply can’t risk paying a regular or base salary at this stage in our journey. For that reason, we want to reward the right person for their demonstrable results.
What is the UK&I Sales Development Representative responsible for?
You will be the driver for proactive generation of sales leads. Responsible for generating and progressing business development opportunities for our cloud professional services offerings. You will provide input to our marketing efforts and work closely with the Business Development Manager to help build a pipeline of consultancy, training and support opportunities.
You will find and contact prospects through a combination of calls, visits, events, website contacts and direct marketing campaigns. Your qualified new business opportunities will feed directly into the Business Development Manager who will need your guidance and input to help progress the opportunities.
Your days of work will normally be Monday to Friday, the hours of work are 9 to 5:30pm UK time, but due to the nature of the business you may be required to travel and assist outside normal working hours.
What are the ongoing responsibilities of a UK&I Sales Development Representative?
Design, build and drive new business initiatives on behalf of nubeGO incorporating all of our core products and services
Cold call into prospects generated through a variety of different sources
Build and manage prospect lists
Establish and cultivate quality relationships within agreed customer demographics
Generate leads and meet established qualified leads quotas
Identify new market opportunities
Arrange appointments and calls with the Business Development Manager or CEO once an opportunity reaches a qualified stage
Provide service and product knowledge to professional channels
Nurture new marketing leads through education and development until they are ready to speak to a Business Development Manager or Technical contact
Attend relevant events for Business Development activities
Drive attendance for webinars, conferences and events
Arrange and attend meetings at conferences and events
Confidently communicate our product offerings and the value of the Cloud
Administration of CRM records
What qualifications, skills and experience would help someone to be successful?
At least 1 year’s experience of successful lead generation activity, preferably in a technology or cloud-focused organisation
Ability to innovate and complete early stage lead generation ideas and activities
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Strong networking and relationship building skills
Ability to work independently or with minimal supervision
Enthusiastic and ambitious

This is a contract sales opportunity for a freelance Sales Development Representative. You will need to operate under your own private limited company, on a fixed-term contract for services you deliver to us.
